Wajidkhan is the first ever artist to acquire the patent for Nail Art. WajidKhan is an Indian artist, portraitist, sculptor, inventor and patent holder. He has specialized in carving canvas with nails. Recognizing his outstanding nail art, Khan was named in the Guinness Book of World Records, LimcaBook of Records, and Asia Book of Records. WajidKhan has been commissioned to design a unique sculpture for 2022 FIFA World Cup, to be held in Qatar.
On the second day of the festival, Monoprintworkshop was taken up by AtulSinha. He is a Famous Mono Print and Wood Carving Artist. He has won laurels and his pieces of art have been displayed in National Gallery of Modern Art, WilfredoMuseum (Cuba) and Centre of International Modern Art.
The third day began with a session and workshop by HimmatShah. HimmatShah was born in 1933 at Lothalin Gujarat. After initially training as a drawing teacher, he studied painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of M.S. University, Baroda, from 1956 to 1960. He was a National Cultural Scholar in 1956 and received a French Government scholarship to study etching at Atelier 17, Paris in 1967. HimmatShah designed and executed monumental murals in brick, cement, and concrete. Even today, HimmatShah continues to extend his search for his own medium and craft, pushing boundaries in sculpture as well as drawing, out of his studio in Jaipur, established in the year 2000
A session on photography was taken up on day four by famous photojournalist RaghuRai. RaghuRaiis an Indian photographer and photojournalist. Raibecame a photographer in 1965 and a year later joined the staff of The Statesman, a New Delhi publication. In 1976, he left the paper and became a freelance photographer. From 1982 until 1992, Raiwas the director of photography for India Today.He has served on the jury for World Press Photo from 1990 to 1997. He is known for his books, RaghuRai’sIndia: Reflections in Color and Reflections in Black and White.
